Any matter discussed with University Student Legal Services is confidential, regardless of whether the office has accepted the case. However, correspondence does not automatically create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship can only be created after the student has an appointment and the case is accepted for work by University Student Legal Services.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Office hours follow NC State’s academic calendar during classes and exams.
Notary Services
University Student Legal Services has notaries on staff that can notarize documents at no cost to students, faculty or staff. An appointment is required to have documents notarized. Notarization appointments are only available 2-3 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. For more information, please visit our Notary Services webpage.
